Richard Pope has over 25 years of experience implementing BI applications at Fortune 500 companies, with a special focus in financial applications. He joined Symmetry from Oracle Corporation, where he was Practice Director of Midwest Express Consulting. Prior to Oracle, he was Vice President for Information Resources, Inc. (IRI) in Chicago, managing pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Express. In addition to Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Report Builder, SharePoint Insights (PerformancePoint Services), and Excel, Rick's expertise includes Panorama, Oracle Express, Oracle Financial Analyzer, and Oracle Sales Analyzer. He is a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) for BI Development and a Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (MCTS) for BI and PerformancePoint. He has been a featured speaker at conferences sponsored
by the Data Warehouse Institute, the International Oracle Users
Group, the Midwest Accounting and Business Show, and Oracle
Open World. He earned a B.S. in mathematical science and an
M.S. in engineering from Stanford University. |
